Peacocking is a dangerous game to play. Human’s don’t like to feel inadequate and they very often get their revenge if you make them feel that way. It baffles me how time and time again high IQ individuals boast about their achievements to their own detriment.

I’m listening to Martin Shkreli’s lesson 5 on industry universe as I write. His channel is a gold mine of info for anybody interested in finance and investing. He says it how it is, you can not invest part time. It must be a full time job and you will still fail. Don’t ignore the no-arbitrage principle. You have no chance, any money you make will be luck unless you’re truly exceptional.

If you know who martin shkreli is you more than likely hate the man. If you don’t know do a quick search and by the time you come back you will hate him. He was the most hated man in America because he acquired pharma companies with a patent for essential medication. He then hiked the price of the medication and forced the insurance companies to pay out. My guess is that individuals didn’t suffer anywhere near the levels the media would have you believe and it was really the insurance companies getting fucked. The drug in question was Daraprim and it has horrible side effects. Shkreli said he was using the profits to fund research for a safer, more effective alternative and individuals without health insurance could get a supply from him without charge. He’s now in prison and ‘broke’. And it’s because he’s pretentious and obnoxious. Shkreli’s not the most evil guy in America but that’s not what people hate…
